During graduate training, I conducted cross-cultural research on intergenerational trauma and attachment. I completed my internship at Aurora Mental Health Center in Colorado, including a rotation at the Colorado Refugee Wellness Center providing assessment and brief therapy to newly arrived refugees. I completed my postdoctoral residency at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic with a focus on health psychology and Latinx mental health and continued there as a Behavioral Health Consultant serving migrant farm workers and their families from Mexico, Central, and South America. I am a certified perinatal mental health specialist with a focus on pregnant and postpartum women. I am fluent in Spanish and conduct most of my clinical work in Spanish. I currently serve as an evaluator and consultant for the IMPACT™ program.
